It is a known fact that education is still the bedrock of success in life especially in the 21st century and Bells University of Technology, the first of its kind in Nigeria, is not slowing down in respect to giving quality education and needed skills required to cope in this present time and coming future.

The Engineering Today crew paid a courtesy visit to the industrious school and gathered that the University of Technology is doing all it can in preparing their student with quality skills required in industries and industrial world. Talking with the Crew, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olubukola Kuforiji said the university is doing a lot of things differently compared to other public and private owned universities in other to produce graduates needed in the industrial world. In her words she said “without technology, there is no way the nation will move forward and we’ve had to depend on foreign investors and it means you’re not a country. To catch them young is not just learning the theoretical aspect but being able to practicalize and having solutions to basic engineering needs“

In achieving their aim, Bells University of Technology has combined theory, practical and practices to their curriculum and the results gotten from these exercise speaks volume of the success achieved so far. This was made known by the Dean of College of Engineering of the University, Dr. Adeoye Ojo, he said the school is not producing graduates that will add to the numbers of employed Nigerians/youths but graduates that industries will seek for.

The Engineering Today crew advanced to different departments in the University to confirm what is being said of the university to see the research work, projects and innovation the students, lecturer and school as a whole has been working on and what we saw was beyond our expectation as it were. With the level at which the Bells University of Technology is operating and the standard they have created, one can say there is hope for a better future for Nigeria.
