A call has been made by Honorable Akin Aderioye to Engr. Wuraola Atinuke Owolabi, a seasoned engineer, MD of Wurvicat International Ltd to come join them in politics and use her good heart and competence to impact the Nigerian society. The call was made by the Honorable during a yearly event organized by Touch of Love and Lifting Hands Foundation, another non-profit organization founded by Engr. Owolabi to touch the lives of widows, aged and vulnerable in the society.

 

Honorable Aderioye talking after many beneficiaries had come out to openly testify to the benevolence of Engr. Owolabi said "in this Ifako Ijaiye, we are very lucky because what Engr. Atinuke is doing in this local government cannot be seen in other places ".

 



He further said "Engr. Atinuke is not yet in government and she is doing this much for people which means if someone like her should be part of government, the people will benefit a lot from her'. He concluded by repeatedly and publicly calling on Engr. Atinuke Owolabi to join politics in order to impact more lives.

 



Engr. Owolabi often referred to as an humanitarian ambassador, in yielding to this after a careful thought and decided to contest in the forthcoming local government elections as the Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government. The local government has been lit up with excitement since the news broke out. Everyone in the local government has one or two good things to say about this great engineer that has impacted the lives of everyone both young and old in and outside Ifako Ijaiye Local Government.

By Gideon Tobiloba The Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria in a bid to register more qualified engineering practitioners in Nigeria has concluded plans to conduct professional interview for eligible engineers. This professional interview is scheduled to hold at different geopolitical zones in the country. The professional interview is a procedure individuals trained in engineering must go through before they can be referred to as engineers and have licence to practice as engineers. The exercise which started in Abuja on the 3rd of October moved to Lagos where hundreds of engineers were assembled to be tested during the precess.
